HyperbAric Oxygen Therapy

What does a typical HBOT session feel like?

You’ll be seated or reclining comfortably in our chamber while breathing oxygen through a nasal cannula. You may feel slight pressure in your ears, similar to flying on an airplane.

Sessions typically last between 30-120 minutes, depending on the protocol and client goals.

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing with no perfumes, oils, or synthetic fabrics. Cotton clothing is ideal. You will need to remove your shoes prior to entering the chamber and wearing socks is required. Socks are available for purchase at our studio.

Avoid alcohol and caffeine, stay hydrated, and eat a light meal beforehand. Try to avoid air travel 24 hours before and after your session.

This depends on your wellness goals or medical condition. Some clients feel results after 3–5 sessions, while others benefit from a longer series of treatments.

Once the chamber is pressurized, it takes a few minutes to safely depressurize before exiting. For your comfort, we recommend using the bathroom before your session and limiting fluid intake while inside, as bathroom breaks are not possible mid-session.

The cannula is a soft, lightweight tube that delivers concentrated oxygen directly while you relax inside the chamber. It’s safe, comfortable, and essential for ensuring you receive the full therapeutic benefits of your session.

Yes. To experience the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, the cannula must remain in place throughout the session.

What are the contraindications for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

Untreated pneumothorax, recent ear surgery or injury, upper respiratory infections or sinus congestion, certain lung diseases such as COPD with CO2 retention, uncontrolled seizures, severe claustrophobia, pregnancy (unless approved by a physician), and use of chemotherapy agents like doxorubicin, bleomycin, or cisplatin.

Many clients with mild claustrophobia tolerate the HBOT chamber well, especially in our spacious multi-place unit with clear windows and luxurious seating. If you’re concerned, let us know beforehand — we’ll walk you through the process, keep communication open during the session, and help you feel as comfortable and in control as possible.

While sessions are designed to run uninterrupted, your safety is our top priority. If you ever feel unwell or need to exit the chamber urgently, there is an emergency release valve that allows for a controlled but rapid depressurization. This process still takes a few minutes to complete to ensure safety and avoid pressure-related discomfort. Our team monitors all sessions closely and is trained to assist immediately if an emergency stop is needed. Let us know right away if you’re feeling uneasy at any point.

Most clients prefer to ride alone for privacy and relaxation, but we are happy to accompany you if you’re feeling uneasy. If you’d like to bring a friend, we also offer a Buddy Pass rate for shared sessions.

Yes, children can safely use the HBOT chamber. HBOT is commonly used for pediatric cases in both clinical and wellness settings. For younger children, we typically recommend that a parent or guardian accompany them in the chamber to ensure comfort and safety. As always, it’s important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new therapy, especially for children with pre-existing conditions.

Clients are responsible for keeping their cannula on properly during the session. Our team will help position it correctly at the start and answer any questions, but it is the client’s responsibility to ensure it remains on.

If the cannula is removed, the therapy will not work as intended and the results may be reduced. Since sessions are booked and reserved in advance, no refunds or credits are provided if the cannula is not worn as directed.

RED LIGHT THERAPY

What does red light therapy do?

RLT uses low-level wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular activity, promoting healing, collagen production, reduced inflammation, and improved skin tone.

Yes, RLT is non-invasive and safe for all skin types. Our LumaNova system ensures optimal exposure while preventing overheating.

Each session is 10-20 minutes, depending on your skin type and treatment goals.

You should undress to the level of your comfort during your red light therapy session. Minimal clothing or undergarments help to expose the skin being treated.

How should I prepare for my session?

Come with clean, product-free skin to maximize light absorption. No sunscreen, oils, or makeup.

For skin and wellness benefits, 2-3 sessions per week for at least 4 weeks is typical. Results improve with consistency.

For general wellness and skincare, 2–3 sessions per week are recommended. Your plan may vary based on your specific goals.

Photosensitivity disorders such as lupus, use of photosensitizing medications like certain antibiotics and retinoids, active skin infections or open wounds, cancerous lesions or tumors without physician clearance, pregnancy (especially abdominal exposure), and recent Botox or filler treatments within the past 3–5 days.

EMS TRAINING

What is EMS training?

EMS involves wearing a suit that sends electrical impulses to muscle groups, causing contractions and enhancing the effects of physical exercise.

Yes, EMS is FDA-cleared and safe when supervised by our trained staff. It is low-impact and ideal for all fitness levels.

One to two sessions per week are typically sufficient due to the intensity and efficiency of EMS training.

We provide EMS-compatible training gear to ensure optimal conductivity and comfort during your session.

Wear minimal undergarments and arrive ready to change.

How long does a session last?

Each session lasts around 20-25 minutes, equivalent to 1.5-2 hours of conventional training.

Stay hydrated, eat a light snack beforehand, and avoid heavy meals right before your session.

3 sessions per week are ideal. Results are noticeable within 4-6 sessions with consistent effort.

Pacemakers or other implanted electrical devices, epilepsy, pregnancy, recent surgical wounds or hernias, severe cardiovascular conditions, active infections or irritated skin at electrode sites, and certain metal implants depending on location and type.

MICROCIRCULATION THERAPY

How does AVACEN microcirculation work?

AVACEN therapy uses heat and negative pressure through the palm to promote whole-body microcirculation, supporting pain relief, tissue oxygenation, and relaxation.

Not at all. Clients typically describe it as a gentle warming sensation in the palm.

AVACEN is used for pain management, circulation issues, muscle tension, and enhancing other therapies like HBOT or red light.

Each session ranges from 15-30 minutes in length.

What should I wear to my session?

Any clothing is fine as long as you are able to insert your hand into the device. Remove all jewelry from the hand up to the wrist.

No specific preparation is needed. Just ensure your hands are clean and dry.

Many clients notice effects after a few sessions, but consistent use 3-5 times per week yields optimal results.

Presence of a pacemaker or implanted electrical devices, pregnancy, bleeding disorders or use of anticoagulants without medical clearance, wounds or skin conditions on the palm, fever or active infection, and in some cases, Raynaud’s Disease.
